Apple Remote library for Arduinio

Casey — Sat, 10/11/2008 - 09:26

I've written a library for the Arduino that lets you emulate the $19.99 (USD) Apple Remote. All it requires is a standard IR LED - you can pick those up from Radio Shack for basically nothing. It's released under the GPL. Enjoy!

Download!

I'd appreciate it very much if you send me an email describing any projects you use it for.

It seems that a few Arduino-related sites have linked here:

  • http://www.instructables.com/id/DIY-Apple-Remote-Shield-for-the-Arduino/

I'm super excited that folks have found this even remotely useful. If folks have any patch suggestions, I'll open up a SVN repository.
